Notes | Into the making of this magnificent and inspiring window have gone 4700 pieces of harmoniously blended stained glass, brought to the United States from many countries of the world. It is the tallest picture window in this country, and tells the story of creation, man's fall, God's message through the Law and the Prophets, and our final salvation through Jesus Christ. The crowning feature of the window is Christ the Saviour, with outstretched arms, inviting all to "Come Unto Me" -- and thus know God. This window is a gift from Mr. and Mrs. Porter Loring in gratitude to our Heavenly Father for His blessings to them and those they love. |
