NotesChrist Church was established in 1821. The present building, of which Richard Upjohn was the architect, was erected in 1849. It is a beautiful example of English Gothic. The Rectory was built in 1818 and is the oldest brick residence in Raleigh. It was originally used as a bank but has been the Rectory since 1873.
