| Notes | 1823 - The earliest church in Deerfield was burned in 1704. On the return of the captives, it was replaced by a simple structure. This larger Brick Church became necessary later and the site selected was the highest point of land in the Stockade near the north gate, although the stockade had long since been removed. |
