NotesThe facade of this church is one of the richest examples of ecclesiastical architecture in the city, the monumental work of H. H. Richardson. St. Gaudens' statue of Phillips Brooks, rector of Trinity from 1869 to 1891, stands on the Huntington Avenue side of the church. In the cloister are stones from old St. Botolph's Church in Boston, England.
