| Notes | In such small bethels as this our early seamen received and renewed the faith that carried them through many perilous hardships on long, wearisome voyages. This chapel, brought to Mystic in 1949, was built circa 1870, and is still in use at Mystic Seaport during the summer season, when vesper services are held every Sunday. |
