The Clerical guide, and ecclesiastical directory : containing a complete register of the dignities and benefices of the Church of England, with their respective value, founded on an average of three years, and exhibiting the names of the incumbents, patrons, and impropriators, county, diocese, archdeaconry, population, and church-accommodation of the livings : compiled from the report of the commissioners appointed "to inquire into the revenues and patronage of the established church in England and Wales," and presented to both houses of Parliament, in June 1835, by command of His Majesty : to which are added, an alphabetical list of the dignitaries and beneficed clergy, and the ecclesiastical patronage at the disposal of the King, Lord Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, archbishops, bishops, deans and chapters, prebendaries of cathedral and collegiate churches, colleges at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, &c. &c
