Notes | Sandia is a small pueblo occupying a gentle rise from the bottom lands on the west banks of the Rio Grande. It may be easily seen as the train approaches the small station of Alameda, a short distance above Albuquerque. It is also easily reached by stage from Albuquerque. The population is about 150. The church is comparatively modern. |
