Notes | The congregation of the Bryan Memorial Church (Methodist Episcopal) was first organized in the Old Housekeeper's Club Building on February 14, 1915. The present edifice was begun in 1925, cost $150,000, and is situated in beautiful and historic Coconut Grove. It is in the Spanish Renaissance style of architecture and was erected under the leadership of William Jennings Bryan. After his sudden death in 1925, it was dedicated to his memory. |
